Sure thing.  I wrote this just today, so it's light on source code comments, but it's better than the VB you sent me.  Plus, I've already tested it under Linux and Windows, and it'll likely work on any platform with a serial port since it's Java.

Inside the zip file, there's a text file with directions on how to code with it, and my e-mail address is included if anybody has a question or wants to submit code back to me for maintenance.  It might be a good idea to put this stuff up on your web site - I bet it'll increase your sales.

Thanks,
David Ron

Could you send me a copy? I do get quite a few requests, but since I am not
into programming, I just send what I have gleaned.

That did it. I got it working under Java. If anybody needs
the code, just let me know. I have a usable package that
will get the job done on any platform (Windows, Unix, Linux,
Macintosh).

Thanks,
David Ron
